According to multiple sources, Pablo Sandoval is looking for a 6-year free agent deal—in the range of $100 million. With the Red Sox loathe to commit to long-term deals, it will be interesting to see if they keep up their hot pursuit of the Giants third baseman. Clearly, Boston needs a serious upgrade at the "hot corner"—which Sandoval would deliver at the relatively young age of 28. Paying him—and his questionable conditioning history—until the age of 34 may be another thing. Aside from his ridiculous performances in the post-season, The Panda hit .279 last year with 16 HRs and 73 RBIs over 157 games. Will the Panda-Monium at Yawkey Way continue? Stay tuned!
