| Papi Lands Back On The DL |
The Red Sox announced that
Designated Hitter David Ortiz is back on the disabled list with a sore Achilles tendon in his right foot. A plasma-rich platelet injection will shut him down for 7-10 days. The team, however, made it clear he is not being shut down for the balance of the year.
Ryan Kalish was called up from Pawtucket to fill Papi's roster spot.
