Evil Ones Are Back In The Manny Machado Trade Loop

Just when you thought the off-season couldn't be any bleaker, a report has surfaced that The Bronx Embalmers are back in the trade hunt for Orioles star Manny Machado. The 25-year-old three-time All-Star has been pulled on and off the market several times by Baltimore—and now it appears he's available again (at least to The Evil Ones). The word is that New York has a big hole to fill at 3B, has the best prospects to offer and is still—somehow—$20 million (or more) under the luxury tax threshold. While there are other 3B options for The Pinstriped Posers—like the Pirates’ Josh Harrison, Kansas City's Mike Moustakas and a return of Todd Frazier—some see Machado as the most "realistic" possibility. Machado has one year left on his current contract and—unless he can be extended—will be a free agent after this coming season. Stay tuned!
