Kelly And Holt Were Top Post-Season Sox Performers

Kelly (L); Holt (R)
Now that October is officially in the books, we can look back and single out which Red Sox players performed best in their fleeting three-game post-season "run". We decided to select a top hitting and pitching star from the ALDS—and named Brock Holt and Joe Kelly as the best Red Sox performers. On the pitching side, Kelly hurled 3 2/3 innings across all three games—compiling a 0.00 ERA, yielding no hits or walks and striking out three. Holt nudged out rookie Andrew Benintendi for the top hitting honors. Holt had 10 at-bats over the three ALDS games—hitting .400 with a double, a home run, and an RBI. Holt had a team-leading OPS in the three-game set of 1.200. In an otherwise highly disappointing post-season, we salute both Kelly and Holt on fine performances.
