Well, it's good to know that the American League follows the lead of
FenwayNation! Earlier this week, FN named
Mookie Betts our co-winner (along with
Rick Porcello) as
Player Of The Month for July. Then, today,
Betts was named the American League's July Player Of The Month. It's the first time the Red Sox right-fielder has been honored by the monthly award. He's having a spectacular season—clouting a career-high 22 HRs. The 23-year old hit a blistering .368 in July. Congratulations, Mookie!
