Price Falters Again, Red Sox Get Smoked By Empire, 8-2

(Getty Images)
Suddenly, the words "opt out" seem viable. David Price threw another stinker yesterday—going 4 2/3 innings and yielding six earned runs. His ERA is now 6.75. Either he's hurt, or this is one of the worst Red Sox pitcher signings in years. The Pinstriped Posers scored early and often in the 8-2 loss. The only highlights were another Jackie Bradley, Jr. home run (his 3rd) and a 2-4 day for a slumping Mookie Betts (now hitting .254). Boston looks to avoid the "reverse sweep" tonight.
