Jackie Bradley, Jr. And Red Sox Lower The Boom On A's

This team certainly does have the offense. The Red Sox unloaded on Oakland ace Sonny Gray last night, ending up with a 14-7 blowout of the A's. Ironically, Las Vegas favored The Carmine Hose by a touchdown. Leading the way was the red-hot Jackie Bradley, Jr.—who knocked in six of the Boston runs, four on his first career grand slam. JBJ ended up going 3-5 and is now hitting .303. Trailing 4-1 in the fourth (after yet another lukewarm Clay Buchholz start), Boston kept the line moving—scoring six runs in the frame on a flurry of hist off Gray. In addition to Bradley, the Sox got multi-hit games from David Ortiz, Xander Bogaerts, and Travis Shaw.
