| "We're Gonna Need A Bigger Cart" |
Uh-oh. Just when you thought it was safe to feel good about the start of the 2016 season,
this happens. Apparently, the golf two-some of
Mookie Betts and
Travis Shaw were a little absent-minded about the whereabouts of their golf cart on Sunday. Since Mookie was driving, it's probably more
his responsibility that
the unattended cart drifted into a water hazard. That's right, a submerged golf cart. Said Betts on Twitter,
"Yea no more driving for me". Now, this comes nowhere
near the weird shenanigans that have historically plagued Red Sox players in the past—but, come on, Mookie. Put it in "Park", not "Neutral"! Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident.
