Yankees Reward Yet Another Bad Actor With Big Bucks

The Newest Bronx Embalmer
Continuing their long tradition of employing assorted jerks and malcontents (for example, see Alex Rodriguez; Gary Sheffield; Reggie Jackson; Billy Martin and Chad Curtis), the Yankees have rewarded Aroldis Chapman with a one-year, $11.325 million contract. The 'oh-so-high-and-mighty' Empire traded for Chapman even after domestic violence charges were filed against him last October. Allegedly, the new closer of "The Pinstriped Posers " fired eight gunshots after an argument with his girlfriend—then (as she told police) he "choked" her and pushed her against a wall. What a fine, upstanding "character" guy! MLB is likely to suspend the moron for at least part of the 2016 season under their new domestic violence policy. Chapman will fit right in at The Concrete Bunker On 161st Street.
