Ryan Hanigan's Nephew Catches Papi HR Ball

Hanigan ('98) On Base For Andover High (Eagle-Tribune)
Andover, Massachusetts native Ryan Hanigan is now playing for his hometown team. One of the benefits is that his family and friends have a shorter trip to see him play. Hanigan's nephew, Tanner O'Sullivan (also of Andover) was in the Monster Seats yesterday when David Ortiz launched a home run ball his way. Of course, he caught it. After all, his uncle is on the team. Oddly, this is not the first time O'Sullivan has retrieved a home run ball. In 2012—when he was just nine—he was at Yankee Stadium to watch Uncle Ryan (then a Cincinnati Red) play The Evil Ones. When Hanigan was informed of the feat, he stated, "Really? That's really cool." Indeed.
