REPORT: A-Rod Paid 'Hush Money' To Cousin

According to a report by Michael O'Keefe, Christian Red and Teri Thompson of The New York Daily News, Alex Rodriguez paid $900,000 to his cousin in 2013 to secure his silence about the player's PED use. The explosive report states that Yuri Sucart, A-Rod's cousin, threatened to expose the Yankee third baseman's PED use unless payment was made "for the past services rendered and to fulfill your promise to support he and his family for life." Sucart is still a defendant in the government's Biogenesis probe—and it now looks as if A-Rod will testify against his cousin. Yankee Spring Training starts in a little over 100 days—we can hardly wait.
