Our All-Time Red Sox Position Player Team

Since we have about 100 days until the start of Spring Training, we thought we'd occupy our feeble minds with the construction of an All-Time Red Sox Position Player Team (exclusive of pitchers and DH). Here goes:

First Base: Jimmy Foxx (runner-up: Mo Vaughn)
Second Base: Dustin Pedroia (runner-up: Bobby Doerr)
Third Base: Wade Boggs (runner-up: Frank Malzone)
Shortstop: Nomar Garciaparra (runner-up: Joe Cronin)
Left Field: Ted Williams (runner-up: Carl Yastrzemski)
Center Field: Tris Speaker (runner-up: Fred Lynn)
Right Field: Jackie Jensen (runner-up: Dwight Evans)
Catcher: Carlton Fisk (runner-up: Jason Varitek)
