Schilling Replaces Hershiser On ESPN's SNB

Former Red Sox hero Curt Schilling will replace Orel Hershiser on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball broadcasts beginning next season. Schilling—who has been an ESPN studio analyst—will now be joining John Kruk and Dan Shulman in the play-by-play booth. Schilling appears on the Hall of Fame ballot for the first time this year, and is seen by some as having a decent shot at enshrinement someday. He compiled a .597 winning percentage over 20 seasons—with a 3.46 ERA. In four years with the Red Sox, Schilling won 53 games, posting a 3.95 ERA. He was an indispensable contributor to two World Series Championships (2004, 2007).
