Sox Planning To Deal Ellsbury For Pitching?

Being "Run" Out Of Town?
The mind-boggling over-payment deals for Mike Napoli and Shane Victorino have many in the media and in the fan base buzzing about the dropping of another shoe. One of the bigger theories is that Boston is preparing to flip Jacoby Ellsbury in a major deal for front-line starting pitching. The theory goes that Victorino could slide into center field for a year or two until Jackie Bradley Jr. is ready and Cody Ross could then be re-signed to play right. The only problem is no one can quite figure out which team would want Ellsbury for just one year and who the pitcher or pitchers would be coming back to the Hub. ESPN's Gordon Edes has already shot down the Ellsbury to Philly for Cliff Lee trial balloon. Stay tuned, sports fans!
