Ryan Kalish Recalled To Replace Ryan Sweeney

Kalish With Young Fan
For those of you obsessed with Soap Operas, you might call it "Ryan's Hop". Sorry. The Red Sox re-called OF Ryan Kalish from Pawtucket to replace the injured Ryan Sweeney. Sweeney will be placed on the DL and will likely be lost for the remainder of 2012. Reportedly, he was headed out of town to the Reds if he hadn't fractured his hand by slamming a door in the Red Sox clubhouse. The 24-year old Kalish hit just .217 in his first 2012 stint with Boston in just 60 at-bats.
