Having said that, if the 'Tracy Turnaround' continues even close to the pace set since June 25th (24-2, .846 winning percentage), 90 wins or more should be a reachable goal. In fact, if they matched that pace (highly unlikely), they would finish the season 99-63. 

Will John Henry let Craig Breslow dip into his moth-eaten wallet to make another deal before next Monday's deadline? One would hope that the realistic playoff outlook (and the reduced "Sell The Team" chants that accompany it) would motivate the miserly NOG to get a third catcher or a major-league level shortstop. We shall see!
