Price Check On Aisle "Opt-Out", Sox Fall To Evil Ones 6-2, Series Tied At One

Tell us if you've heard this one before: "David Price got hammered by the Yankees in a big game." The Pinstriped Posers homered twice early off Price, whose command was off throughout his 1.2 innings of work. Essentially, the game was over at this point, despite Boston getting two back (one on a center-field blast by Xander Bogaerts). You have to wonder whether this could be the last appearance by Price in a Red Sox uniform. He can't be happy, and we certainly aren't. He can opt-out of his seven-year, $217 million contract when the season ends, so we'll see. The Bronx Embalmers salted away this game with another home run (a three-run shot) to result in the eventual 6-2 loss. The series (now knotted at 1-1) moves to The Concrete Bunker On 161st Street on Monday and Tuesday.
