Mike Trout, in third position with a WAR of 8.0. Clearly, all three players are serious contenders for the
American League Most Valuable Players Award—with many observers believing that the WAR stat is the one true measure of MVP status. Other

J.D. Martinez in 8th position with a WAR of 5.4 and
