POLL: Plurality Want Sox To Focus On Starting Pitching At The Trade Deadline

Very early voting in our latest FenwayNation Poll shows that a plurality of readers (43%) want the Red Sox to focus mostly on starting pitching in the run-up to the July 31st MLB trade deadline. As the chart shows, nearly as many (39%) think relief pitching should be the priority, while 11% think the team should simply stand pat at the deadline and not make any moves. Only 7% think the Red Sox should address their second-base situation—considering the uncertainty of Dustin Pedroia's return. So far, there have been no votes cast for either a right-handed bat off the bench or a base-stealer off the bench. You can still vote in the poll HERE.
