Well, folks, all we've got is
a pretty useless "no update" update from
NBCSportsBoston's
Evan Drellich. According to him, today's "plan" was to have
Xander Bogaerts undergo treatment to gauge whether a stint on the disabled list was needed. Drellich speculates that no "immediate" choice of the DL is somehow "encouraging". Drellich goes on to report that Bogaerts (as of a 2:15 PM Twitter post) is "gone for exam(s)". So, pretty much no new information at all. Although, Drellich deserves credit for being the only media insider to report
anything. Stay tuned.
