Mookie Betts homered twice—once to lead-off the game and once in the 7th inning to give Boston the lead—in a 4-3 victory over the Blue Jays. The Red Sox right-fielder drove in three of Boston's four runs as The Carmine Hose broke a three-game losing streak to claim their 18th victory of the young season. Good starting pitching was again present, with Eduardo Rodriguez going 6.2 innings and giving up three earned runs. The bullpen delivered 2.1 innings of scoreless relief—including Craig Kimbrel's sixth save. Brock Holt continued his solid contributions—going 3-4, scoring a run and driving a run in. The BrockStar is now hitting .327. Boston has a chance to win another series tonight with Chris Sale on the hill.
