JBL 'Free' Truly Wireless In-Ear Headphones Are Quite A Luxury At Fenway

Thanks to the fine people at Verizon Wireless, FenwayNation was able to sample a great new technology during one of our recent visits to Fenway Park. JBL "Free" Truly Wireless In-Ear Headphones are (as you might expect) absolutely spectacular. There's nothing like killing pre-game time listening to the rich, crisp sounds of the Beatles' "Norwegian Wood" or YES's "Roundabout" without being encumbered by tangling wires. The experience actually made the wicked cold weather bearable. The range and sound quality of these little guys is truly amazing. Honestly, I thought I'd have some "fit" issues with my ears—but thanks to a range of customized ear cushion options, pretty much anyone can get the perfect, secure fit. I've never experienced wireless headphones before, but I can't imagine any option better than these JBLs. Although I didn't try it out, you can also make and take calls from your smart phone with these devices. One more thing, I have always been bedeviled by Bluetooth hook-ups—they never seem to work right on the first try. With these JBLs, even a Luddite like me was able to connect right away (thanks to a very cool and beautifully-designed charging case). All in all, these JBL "Free" wireless headphones are well worth the cost in sound quality and convenience. My only regret is that I have to send them back to Verizon Wireless in a few more days. (Hint, hint, Verizon—can I keep them?). You can get more info HERE.
