POLL: Basic Three-Way Tie For Top '17 Red Sox Story

Continued voting in our latest FenwayNation Poll shows a virtual three-way tie for Top Red Sox Story of 2017. As the chart shows, the first two stories on the list—the Price/Eck Plane Flap, and the second straight early playoff exit—are literally tied at 20% each in the poll. Very close behind is Chris Sale's 300-strikeout season at 19%. The firing of John Farrell comes in next at 13%, followed by the capturing of the team's second straight AL East division title (10%). In single digits were: the hiring of new manager Alex Cora at 8% and the retiring of David Ortiz's number—also at 8%. A total of 1% wrote-in other stories—including the lack of power in the Red Sox lineup and the calling up of Rafael Devers. You can still vote in the poll HERE.
