At last, there is
some indication that Red Sox President Of Baseball Operations
Dave Dombrowski did not hibernate the
entire off-season. According to a report by
Susan Slusser of
The San Francisco Chronicle,
Boston inquired about trading for LF/DH Khris Davis earlier this off-season—and were turned down by the A's—

breathes on their roster? The soon-to-be 30-year-old Davis would have been an intriguing option—hitting 43 HRs last year and knocking in 110. But, old
'Double D' whiffed on another one.
