The "Big", But Goofy Two-Game Series With Tampa Bay

The Most Pulp Dome (AKA: Tropicana Field)
For some reason, Major League Baseball has decided that two-game sets are all the rage. Why, we have no idea. But, starting tonight, the Red Sox will barely unpack their bags for a quick two game series at the worst ballpark in baseball—The Most Pulp Dome in Tampa. The games are important, however, since the Rays are just 5.5 games back of The Carmine Hose in the AL East. Moreover, The Bronx Embalmers (just 3 games back) are at SkyDome (never to be called Rogers Centre) to take on the hapless Jays (who, ironically, are not "hapless" tonight, with J. A. Happ on the mound). Luckily, the rotation gives us Chris Sale in the first game, but we draw Rick 'Not So Pretty As He Used To Be' Porcello in the second game. After briefly lighting on Florida's West Coast, the Red Sox fly to Baghdad-On-The Hudson to play three at The Concrete Bunker On 161st Street—the most boring new stadium in all of baseball. Should be an interesting week!
