Dustin Pedroia Is FenwayNation's July Player O' Month

The Editors of FenwayNation have selected Dustin Pedroia as their July Player Of The Month. The Muddy Chicken hit .337 over 23 July games—socking four HRs and knocking in 25 runs. Pedroia led the team in July with 33 hits—including five doubles (tied for the team lead). The Laser Show put up an on-base percentage of .393 in July—as well as a slugging percentage of .510 and an OPS of .903. He also made two of the most outstanding defensive plays of his entire career—including the legendary play against the Rangers we called: "the wacky, brick-wall carom, Matrix-twisting, Fourth Of July eve beauty in Texas". Pedroia joins Jackie Bradley, Jr. (June), Xander Bogaerts (May) and the combo of Andrew Benintendi and Chris Sale (April) as Players Of The Month. Congratulations, Dustin, on being named the FenwayNation July Player Of The Month!
