See-Saw Sox Seize Win Number Thirty, Topple O's, 5-2

Only seven MLB teams have at least 30 wins. Your "up-and-down" Carmine Hose are one of them. A solid start by David Price—who took a three-hitter into the eighth inning—resulted in his first win of 2017. The lefty went seven innings plus, yielding those three hits and one run—while striking out seven in the eventual 5-2 win. The offense was paced by a two-run HR by Hanley Ramirez—who clouted his seventh in the fourth inning. HanRam ended up with three RBIs—with Xander Bogaerts and Mookie Betts driving in the other two. Craig Kimbrel notched his shakiest save since April 20th—the 16th for the closer in 2017. A good solid win in an AL East that is increasingly shaping up as a potential two-team race between Boston and The Evil Ones.
