Red Sox Power-Up On Halos, Stay In First Place, 9-4

A pair of two-run home runs helped propel the Red Sox to a 9-4 win over the Anaheim/Orange County/California/United States/North America/Earth/Milky Way Angels. Both Hanley Ramirez and Sandy Leon went yard in the victory—which kept The Carmine Hose in first-place in the AL East. Rick Porcello was atypically good until the seventh inning, when he reverted to the 'Ugly Ricky' we've seen in most of 2017. Xander Bogaerts and Jackie Bradley, Jr. also had multiple-hit games in the win—as Boston pounded out ten hits to sail to victory. Thanks to a completely lucky extra-innings win by The Bronx Embalmers in Baghdad-By-The-Hudson, the Sox remain tied atop the division.
