This was another stinker by
"Wicked Unattractive" Rick Porcello. The 2016
Cy Young winner gave up six runs (five earned) over just 6.1 innings in
an 8-0 loss. Typically for this season, he gave up two long balls—and also walked two while striking out five. He falls to 3-8 with a 4.46 ERA. Needless to say, he won't be in the running for a repeat Cy. Boston's offense just wasn't there last night—with five meager hits (two by bench-jockey
Josh Rutledge). Nothing good can be said about this disaster of a game. No biscuit.
