Dombrowski: Red Sox Won't Trade Devers Or Groome

It's not an ironclad promise, of course, but Dave Dombrowski does not want to trade any more top prospects. The Red Sox President Of Baseball Operations has already shed Manuel Margot, Anderson Espinoza, Yoan Moncada and Michael Kopech. In a WEEI interview, Dombrowski seems to be hesitant to trade young phenoms like P Jason Groome and 3B Rafael Devers—both of whom he specifically cited. Said Double D: "You can’t keep trading players all the time. We’re not really looking to trade our premium guys." Amen.
