Brian Johnson still might start for the Red Sox on Friday against the Tigers. Said Farrell on Sunday,
"He’s improved throughout the day. Over the coming days, we’re hopeful we can get him back on the mound and get a bullpen. Until that time, he’s improving. He’s in the mix. There’s not been a final determination yet." Color us skeptical.
