TripAdvisor.com, your very own
Fenway Park is #13 on the list of Top 25 "landmarks" in the United States. That puts the old girl ahead of Mt. Rushmore, the Hoover Dam and even Graceland, for Pete's Sake! Then again, the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC (#10) and the Griffith Observatory in LA (#11) are both ranked
ahead of Fenway.
Huh? And some kidney-bean shaped thing called the "Cloud Gate" in Chicago is one spot
ahead of our 105-year old creaker of a ballpark. Trip Advisor
does dub Fenway as
"baseball at its best"—and no other sporting venue of
any type even made the list. So, there's that.
