Red Sox Limp Onto Road Trip With 8-3 Home Loss

(AP Photo)
At a measly two games over .500, your 2017 Carmine Hose head out on a six-game road trip—including three stupid inter-league games where either Hanley Ramirez or Mitch Moreland will have to sit. Last night, in a pathetically inept effort, Boston fell to the Orioles 8-3. Quadruple A starter Kyle Kendrick was clearly not ready for prime time as the Red Sox blew 2-0 and 3-1 leads. Only Dustin Pedroia's first 2017 HR allowed fans something to cheer about. This is a deeply-flawed team that may have serious disadvantages in the AL East race.
