It's hard to put a good face on losing two out of three
at home to a crappy team like the Tampa Bay Rays. In fact, it can't be done. Boston limped out of chilly Fenway with
an 11-2 pummeling by The Sons Of Kevin Cash. Now, they head back out on the road for six games (in St. Louis and Oakland)—where their record is a dismal 7-9. Oh, did we mention that the team lost another starter yesterday?
Drew 'Pre-Existing Condition' Pomeranz left after three innings to an uncertain absence. And, we got the glorious news that
David Price threw 75 pitches to somebody. This nearly .500 team is heading for some very rough waters.
