Sox Partnering With Venezuelan-Owned CITGO On STEM

CITGO, the state-owned oil monopoly of Venezuela, is 'partnering' with the Red Sox to promote STEM education in Boston-area schools. While the goal is a laudatory one, hooking up with a dictatorial, anti-American regime for any reason is a really bad idea. The Red Sox ownership should not legitimize a radical extremist like Venezuelan strongman Nicolas Maduro—the stooge and "successor" to the late tin-horn dictator Hugo Chávez. Find another benefactor, John Henry!
