NESN Telecasting One Fewer Game This Spring Training

New England Sports Network (NESN)—perhaps the worst regional sports network in America—will broadcast one fewer Red Sox game this Spring than last year. It figures, right? After all, who the heck is interested in watching Red Sox Spring Training games? NESN announced the paired-down schedule yesterday—saying they'll televise just 15 Spring games (compared with 16 last year). There will be one game against The Bronx Embalmers (March 21), and—of course—they'll play the Twinkies four times on TV. No word yet on whether NESN will finally incorporate SuperSlowMo replay into their coverage—something every other MLB-affiliated regional sports network already has. We bet John Henry's foreign soccer team has SuperSlowMo.
