MLB Floats Dumbest Time-Saving Idea Of All-Time

OK, we understand that baseball games are too long. We also get that Millennials need to be roped into loving the game. But, Major League Baseball has come up with the single dumbest idea ever to solve the issue. Believe it or not, Rob Manfred and Joe Torre want to place a runner at second base at the start of extra innings to move things along. SAY WHAT!? As wacky as this sounds, they will actually "experiment" with the rule change this year at the lowest level of rookie leagues. But you know what they say—once something gets introduced, it's bound to stay. Just to give you a sense of how alien this idiocy is—the stupid World Baseball Classic will use the rule in this year's competition. Said Torre (MLB’s Chief Baseball Officer), "Let’s see what it looks like. It’s not fun to watch when you go through your whole pitching staff and wind up bringing a utility infielder in to pitch." YES IT IS!!!!!
