Well, it's not just us here in The Nation who think Andrew Benintendi is pretty special. MLB.com has just released it's list of the Top Outfield Prospects for 2017. A-Ben tops the list in the number one slot. One downside in the ranking is that Manny Margot of the San Diego Padres slots in at number eight—traded by the Red Sox for Craig 'Watch Me Walk The Ballpark' Kimbrel back in 2015. Said the website about the 5'10"A-Ben, "Though Benintendi isn't physically imposing, he generates surprising power with his quick hands and strong wrists and projects to deliver 20 or more homers on an annual basis." Of course, Red Sox fans are used to 'under-sized' left-handed hitting left-fielders who morph into Hall of Famers—after all, Carl Yastrzemski was just 5'11''.
