Red Sox To Open 2017 Against Northeastern Huskies

The Red Sox announced their 2017 Spring Training schedule—which starts on Thursday, February 23rd against the Northeastern University Huskies at 1:05 PM at JetBlue Park. The team apparently will not play the Boston College Eagles this coming season. Not surprisingly, The Carmine Hose will play their cross-town rival Twinkies six times in the Spring. The Sox will also play the Mets, Cardinals, Evil Ones, Phillies, Pirates and Nationals during the Grapefruit League season. In total, Boston will play 37 games and also announced ticket prices that range from $5 to $49. Nineteen of the 37 games will be played in Fort Myers at JetBlue. Tickets will go on sale at 10:00AM on December 3rd.
