With news that
Andrew Benintendi may not return this season (or at least not until very late in the year)
and given the struggles of
Travis Shaw, it seems almost
too obvious that super-prospect
Yoan Moncada should get a September call-up. Moncada has been playing a very credible third base at AA, so he could help out there. Also, he can slot into LF should
Brock Holt or
Chris Young falter. At worst, he can be the 'spark-plug' pinch-runner off the bench—something this team sorely needs. So, why is there even any controversy about this? Get him up here tomorrow!
