Kimbrel Cites Still-Sore Left Knee For Ineffectiveness

After walking four batters, and not being able to close out the ninth inning, Red Sox closer Craig Kimbrel revealed that he is still feeling some discomfort in his surgically-repaired left knee. Said Kimbrel, "When you’re sore, does it affect you? I wouldn’t say it affected me in my performance, but I definitely, it’s something I’m going to battle with until it’s all gone. I’m still four weeks out of surgery." If he continues to be ineffective, it might be prudent to place him back on the DL.
