According to multiple reports, the Red Sox are one among seven teams interested in trading for Tampa's Matt Moore. The 27-year old lefty—a year out from Tommy John surgery—has been steadily improving his performance over the last few starts. Moore beat the Angles yesterday in an impressive 6 2/3 inning outing. It's still unclear whether the Rays will make Moore available in a trade, but if they do, Boston has the prospects to fetch him. Whether Dave Dombrowski wants to hand over young talent to a division rival is another question.
