Sox Letting Teams Know There Are Four 'Untouchables'

According to Hall of Fame baseball writer Peter Gammons, the Red Sox are letting teams know that they will not give up four key prospectsYoan Moncada, Andrew Benintendi, Michael Kopech and Rafael Devers. This, despite assurances from Dave Dombrowski that nobody in the organization was 'untouchable' in trade discussions. Hey, another day, another position. The revelation was made in the midst of a story that Boston explored—but turned down—a trade for Kansas City closer Wade Davis. The price in prospects was—apparently—too rich for Double D's blood.
