Red Sox Need To "Feast" On Stale, Really Bad Twinkies

There's an old baseball adage that championship calibre teams win most of the games they should win. Like most adages, this is largely true. A perfect case in point is the upcoming three-game set with the pathetic Minnesota Twins. The Twinkies are plenty bad to begin with (18-41, -90 run differential). But, on top of all that, they will have to honor a guy the cut loose to have a Hall of Fame career in David Ortiz. That can't help the vibes in the home clubhouse. And home cooking hasn't done them too well this year anyway, as they are 11-19 at Target Field. They are indeed a target for The Carmine Hose this weekend. Anything less than a sweep is defeat.
