Green (L); Betts (R) |
Now that he has
set the record for Red Sox lead-off hitters of three HRs in a game
and tied the MLB record of most HRs in a two-game span (5),
Mookie Betts can tie or break another record tonight. If he homers
twice, he will
tie the MLB mark for most HRs in a three-game span (set by
Shawn Green in May, 2002). If he hits
three, he will stand alone as the only player in MLB history to hit eight HRs in a three-game span. Don't forget to tune in!
