Late Red Sox Rally Falls Short, Lose to Blue Jays, 5-4

For most of Sunday it looked like the powerful Red Sox offense (#1 in MLB) would be no-hit by Toronto. Then, Chris Young ended the no-hit bid and the shutout with a HR in the 8th inning. In the ninth, Boston mounted an even more impressive rally—plating three additional runs. But alas, two runners were left on and the game ended. The result is The Carmine Hose have now slipped back into a virtual first-place tie with the Orioles. More disturbingly, Eduardo Rodriguez—who had shown promise in his 2016 debut—coughed up four HRs in the 5-4 loss.
