ESPN.com's David Schoenfield thinks Dustin Pedroia could be a Hall Of Fame candidate—if he stays health and performs well in his mid-to-late thirties. Schoenfield makes this assessment in an article that chronicles the amazing number of elite second basemen in the game today. In addition to The Laser Show, he lists the following second-sackers: Jose Altuve, Ian Kinsler, Robinson Cano, Ben Zobrist, and Daniel Murphy. Said Schoenfield of Pedey: "He still has that great hand-eye coordination and remains as quick as anybody turning the double play." Indeed.
