Benintendi Gets An RBI Last Night |
As Boston's outfield conundrum deepens (with
Chris Young's more serious hamstring injury), one of their outfield
prospects is
red hot.
Andrew Benintendi went 4-for-5 on Tuesday for the
Sea Dogs (two doubles, two runs, RBI, stolen base). It was Benintendi's
second four-hit game this year. The 21-year-old is hitting .302 on the season at
all levels of the Red Sox system (A, AA). A call-up either soon—or certainly in September—is looking more and more likely.
