Curt Schilling's ESPN Salary Was $2.5 Million A Year

It turns out the ESPN salary being pulled down by Red Sox legend Curt Schilling was not exactly minimum wage. The 2004 World Series hero was getting $2.5 million a year from The World Wide Leader to sit in a booth on Monday nights. Not bad. We'll sit in a booth every Monday for $750,000. Schilling made the salary reveal on the Dan Patrick Show today. Amazingly, Curt didn't think his latest "transgression" would lead to his ouster, "...this one really did catch me by surprise in the sense that, if you look at the meme that I re-posted, which really you can't un-see when you see. But I made a comment about the functionality of men's and women's restrooms. I didn't comment about transgender. I don't care. I've never cared." This whole sorry mess is such a waste.
