We're starting to think this
Mookie Betts kid is going to make it after all. The 23-year old went 4-5 last night—including two triples—to lead the Red Sox to
a 6-2 victory over the
formerly good Astros.
And, the savior of the pitching rotation, Steven Wright turned in his third straight gem—going 6 2/3 innings giving up
no earned runs. Four other Red Sox players had multiple-hit games:
Dustin Pedroia,
Hanley Ramirez,
Travis Shaw and
Xander Bogaerts. A good win to start off a tough road trip.
